It has been one of those weeks where we have been so busy that by the time the week had passed Natalie told me that the week felt like it had taken a month to go by. In some ways that makes it feel like a difficult week because we have been so busy, but it has also been a very good week for a lot of reasons.
Sunday
Sunday Evening we headed over to the Fuhriman house with some cake and ice cream to celebrate his birthday. It has kind of become the normal thing to have cake and ice cream on a separate day so that we can be out celebrating the birthday on the day of. This year Brian decided he wanted a TRON cake. He and I saw the movie in the theaters a few months ago, and ever since then, he has wanted a TRON cake.
(Below: Here is Brian’s cake)
(Below: I was taking pictures of Brian and Natalie with the cake, but I couldn’t resist raising the camera to grab this picture! On a side note, I like how you can see a reflection of the birthday cake in Brian’s glasses)

(Below: Brian has wanted this book since he saw it in the stores. Aunt Emilee hit the jackpot!)
MONDAY
We knew Tuesday was going to be majorly busy, so we headed to Salt Lake to do birthday dinner. This was also Camera day!
Brian picked Tucano’s for his birthday restaurant so we went to the Gateway. This is one of our Families favorite places to spend our free time.

TUESDAY
We had so much to do this day that we didn’t have time for anything. I worked, taught DARE, Natalie worked, Brian had play practice, scouts and basketball practice. Not much of a Birthday because we were so busy, good thing we celebrated early.
WEDNESDAY
Parent teacher conferences
THURSDAY
Pack Meeting
FRIDAY
Spend an unplanned night in Ogden exchanging my first camera for another due to dust on the viewfinder screen. That camera cost to much money for a flaw like this.
And that was the week.
HAPPY BIRTHDAY BRIAN!!! I have had his birthday on my calendar all month and still forgot to call or text or anything! It looks like it was so much fun and what an AWESOME present!
ReplyDeleteHappy birthday, Brian! Glad you all made it through a busy week!
